Orsa & Winston Restaurant

I had a great time at Orsa & Winston! The menu is really interesting and has a lot of variety. I started with the baked oysters, which were really good. For my main course, I had the duck, and it was amazing. The dessert menu looks great, too, and I can't wait to come back and try more things.

Kanpachi Crudo

Kanpachi Crudo is a dish made with raw, thinly sliced kanpachi. The fish is typically served with a simple sauce made with soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Some variations of the dish also include a sprinkle of salt, a squeeze of lime, or a sprinkle of chili pepper flakes. Kanpachi is a type of amberjack fish that is found in the Pacific Ocean. The fish is considered a delicacy due to its delicate flavor and texture. The kanpachi in this dish is typically sourced from sustainably managed fisheries. This dish is perfect for a summertime BBQ or for a light and healthy lunch. The kanpachi is refreshing and flavorful, and the simple sauce provides a nice contrast to the fish.

Seafood Porridge

Butter poaching is a gentle cooking method that results in a lobster that is both moist and tender. The butter not only flavors the lobster, but also helps to keep it moist. To poach a lobster, you will need a large pot with a lid, a rack that will fit in the pot, and enough butter to cover the lobster. Cut the lobster in half lengthwise and remove the intestinal tract. If the lobster is frozen, partially thaw it by placing it in a colander under cold running water. Place the rack in the pot and add enough water to come halfway up the sides of the rack. Place the lobster halves, meat side down, on the rack. Add the butter and bring the water to a gentle simmer. Cover the pot and cook the lobster for 10-12 minutes, or until it is cooked through. Remove the lobster from the pot and serve immediately.

Seafood Porridge

If there is one dish that can be considered Orcish comfort food, it is seafood porridge. The Winston location of Orsa & Winston serves up a piping hot bowl of this deliciousness on a chilly day, and it is the perfect meal to warm you up from the inside out. The porridge is made with a variety of fresh seafood, including clams, mussels, shrimp, and calamari, and it is simmered in a flavorful broth until it is thick and hearty. The dish is served with a side of crusty bread for dipping, and it is the perfect way to refuel after a long day of adventuring.
